The Rainbow Bridge...

I've been blown away at the interest in my Rainbow Bridge painting, but I reckon it has hit a spot so many of us hold in our hearts for those precious pups that we have lost...I believe whole heartedly they will be in Heaven...I can't imagine God would create such loving creatures for it not to be so.~Lara

For a Limited Time I will be offering 5x7 Pet Portraits in Oil for $65 on canvas panel, $100 on stretched canvas & 8x10 for $125 on canvas panel, $150 on stretched canvas (I usually charge $200)...we really need the help with Taffy's ongoing treatment of bone cancer. His pain patches alone will cost us $200 a month & this doesn't include his supplements, chemo, etc. etc. Feel free to share with anyone you may know who might be interested in having a portrait done! Someone STEALING my ART!! on Etsy

Artists be aware! The listing below was brought to my attention today, someone on etsy created a listing with MY painting above, asking another artist to COPY!! MY painting but for less money! Can you believe the audacity??! This is beyond copyright infringement and just plain sickening if you ask me! I have contacted etsy & will be checking to make sure this item is removed by this evening at the latest! And how sweet of them to have the deadline on my birthday!

Grreat News from the Art Show at the Dog Show!

Some grreat news to share! I found out today that my "WBRK Westie Radio," painting above won for Best Entry Depicting a Dog From the Terrier Group at the 2010 Art Show at the Dog Show! This piece may still be available for purchase by contacting the Art Show office. It is 11"x14", framed oil on canvas panel, $425. I also have prints available of this piece in my store on etsy. My Entry for the 2010 Art Show at the Dog Show was Accepted!!

 

I just found out today that this piece was accepted into the 2010 Art Show at the Dog Show in Kansas! There were over 567 entries this year! Very exciting being that this is one of my first national competitions! Stay tuned to find out what happens in a few weeks!
