I Made the Front Page!!

Yes, I know yesterday was Easter, not Thanksgiving, but my Mom gave me these old news clippings from when one of my drawings made the front page of the Novi News...circa 1978, I believe I would've been 6 years old :) I probably won't add this to my list of credentials, but it's a pretty neat keepsake for sure!(*my drawing is the one at the top...a Pilgrim and Native American)

    So cute and how nice that your Mom saved this! Your talent was apparent at a very young age! So you grew up in Northville/Novi???? My husband and I lived in Northville when we were first married! Loved it there and miss it now!

    I kind of wish she had saved the whole front page, but at least we have this...so hard to believe it was over 30 years ago, yikes!...boy I sure loved Village Oaks Elementary School!SO many great memories :)
