My husband lost his job last week, so as you can imagine I've been painting like the dickens in my studio...and I have to say although this is one of the most stressful things I've ever gone through, painting is by far the best therapy!If you are interested in having your pup immortalized in paint, feel free to drop me a line!

    Hi Lara.
    I am an artist as well, and have dabbled in pet portraits, though I really love painting wildlife. Your work is wonderful, a lot of spirit in your paintings of the animals. I also love the vintage style paintings. I am in nursing school now, could not survive in the feast or famine art world for more than a few years...but when i have more financial security, I will be able to devote more time to my REAL work.

    This one is a lovely painting Lara. You capture the puppies so well. Sorry about your husband losing his job. It's a terrible thing, but if it keeps you painting, it's great. All the best. Your work is fantastic.
