Our Jedha has Cancer...

Our Jedha went to the Cancer Specialist today and has a cancerous growth that will need to be removed...to read more click here.
*When in doubt, get it checked out!

  1. We are sorry to hear this and hope that the cancerous growth is caught early. We also pray that Jedha will be on the road to recovery after the removal......take care of yourself too

  2. Lara,
I'm sad to hear this news, but glad to know you checked it out and it will be removed. Give sweet Jedha big love from me!

  3. Ahhh, I wish Jedha all the best, and hope that everything goes well. Great you caught it early.

  4. I am really sorry to hear about this terrible diagnosis, Lara. I hope that your family will be OK during this time and I will say a little prayer for you and Jedha.
    Thinking of you, Natasha.

  5. Oh I'm so sorry to hear that Lara. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  6. I will be thinking and praying for your sweet Jedha.

  7. Thank you to everyone for your prayers!I am glad we caught this early, although I am still hoping once they remove it they will get all of the cancer cells such that it doesn't have a chance to spread!I will be calling today to get an idea of how much this will cost to have removed...the oncologist said if they were to do it, it would cost nearly $2,000 and we just simply do not have that kind of money. She did feel it should be significantly less at our regular vet, so fingers, toes, & paws crossed that it will not be too much and we will be able to get this growth removed asap! Thank you again for your prayers, Jedha is just the sweetest dog ever and we want many, many more years with our Bug-Bear <3

  8. So sorry! I do have to say that 95% of the ones we see daily get along GREAT after surgery. I hope you can get it done. It is hard to think of the cost and I work there and know what it costs the vet to do it. We are not specialists and have really great success. I think your fur baby will have several good years yet!
    Hugs and prayers, Lisa
