Lara,
ReplyDeleteI have loved Collies my whole life and have found that there are NOT many artists that can capture the 'spirit of the Collie', you are among those that can. :) Although I can't be sure that the dog I see here is 'full Collie' I can tell he is a least part Collie.:) Thank you so much for visting my blog, so that I could meet you here and view your great work.
All of your work is wonderful, thanks for sharing with us.
Hugs

Thank you so much!:)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to you my 100th. follower. Wow you sure can paint girl.
ReplyDeleteI can tell the pieces become family heirlooms.
How blessed and fortunate you are to be able to live your dream. Your paintings are wonderful! Thanks for coming by for a visit!
ReplyDeleteDebra
Thank you, I actually was a 3rd grade teacher for 6 years, but now I am following my other passion in life...it's so funny because I never thought I could paint up until just a few years ago!:)
ReplyDeleteThese are very pretty, Lara. You are very talented...Christine
ReplyDeleteHi Lara, I was by last night and enjoyed your roosters and your pups on the other bolg. I'm sorry, I must have left without leaving a comment, unless it's on the other one. My head is spinnging try to chase down all these roosters.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how much detail you can get on a 4x6 inch canvass. I thought I must be reading it wrong. Then I had to laugh when you posted about it being hard to work on a large canvass for one of the dog portraits! As much as I love French Country and was drooling over that ladder back chair it was the dogs that got me.
