I used to teach 3rd grade before becoming an artist. After 9-11 I would often think 'what would I do?' if something like this would ever happen...but sadly against a machine gun I too would have been able to do little. We NEED gun control NOW! I've been busy as a bee this summer not only on several commissions, but my husband was given a job promotion so we packed up & moved from Michigan to Kentucky! Enjoying a fresh start in a new place & one that isn't too far from 'home'...only 6 hours from Michigan. This is a piece I just finished of a vintage wedding dress. Vera Wang is by far my favorite dress designer...I don't think there is a dress I don't like or love of hers! I've been crazy busy the past few weeks with several commissions, including this wedding dress portrait of a dress by Alfred Angelo (Sapphire Style 870)...absolutely LOVE this dress & am so pleased with how this piece turned out!
